The Copenhagen, or Københavner, was first designed for the Royal Palace of Fredensborg in Denmark in 1860. Its signature petal detailing near the rim was originally a practical design, giving the potter a place to grip a wet pot when planting. Crafted from Tuscan Galestro clay and glazed inside and out, each vessel set comes with a matching saucer and drainage hole.
